Sketchbook Circle Residential Trip to Berlin- Final Payment


Sketchbook Circle are teaming up with little art to offer an exciting residential course in Berlin.

·         3 days of creative action in the city

·         Workshops, a street art tour, exhibition visits

·         Devised with the insider knowledge of an artist educator living in Berlin

Dates: 15th-17th April 2019

Cost: £230- Includes a 3 day travel pass in central Berlin, tours and workshops, rental of studio space for the workshops and breakfasts, materials, tea and biscuits. It does not include the cost of lunch or evening meals, airfares to or from Berlin, airport transfers or accommodation.

Day 1: 

8.30-10.00 Kickstart Creativity Breakfast
10.30-13.30 Street Art tour. 
Kreuzberg area for lunch (not included in price) 
14.30-16.00 Harriet will run a workshop exploring the city based in Kreuzberg / Mitte.
16.30 - 18.30 Georgia will lead a workshop in the studio with Gelli plates/surface/ textures responding to the morning.
20.00 Meet in a restaurant (not included in the price) in Prenzlauer Berg/ Mitte

Day 2: 
8.30-10.00 Kickstart Creativity Breakfast
10.30-12.30 Harriet will lead a site specific workshop in the city.
Lunch nearby (not included in price)
14.00- 15:30 Sammlung Boros (Bunker Art tour )
16:00- 19:00 Martin Gropius Bau visit
20.00 Restaurant in Neukölln (not included in price)

Day 3: 
8.30-10.00 Kickstart Creativity Breakfast
10.30 - 12.00 workshop in the studio.
Then explore a different bit of the city- Prenzlauer Berg to Mitte. Chance to draw and take photos. 
Walking from the studio to Hamburger Bahnhof, via Mauer Park, Bernauer Strasse, Nordbahnhof and seeing sections of the wall,  view a checkpoint.

You are strongly advised to have appropriate travel insurance which should include personal liability insurance. You are also advised to take a valid EHIC card.  (The date of the course is after Brexit, however, EHIC cards will still be valid until 31/12/2020.)

The bookings will be made months in advance of the course, therefore we are unable to offer any refunds. If you want to cancel your booking within 8 weeks of the start of the course, you should if you notify us via email at We will relist your place for resale to other customers. If we are unable to resell your place in the time remaining, you will forfeit any fees associated with your booking. You can also transfer/sell the booking to another person (18 years or older) . If a person that is booked on to the course fails to attend for any reason, they would not be entitled to a refund or a rebooking.

Please note that cancellation charges may be reclaimed, less an excess, via your insurance company, provided that the cancellation occurs within the terms of the policy e.g. necessary cancellation due to cancelled flights, injury or illness of the party member etc.
